KHAS and Koç University’s Young Sporters Rowed 10th Time for Friendship at the 100th Year of Republic

Kadir Has University’s and Koç University’s rowing teams raced for the Golden Horn Friendship Cup. Kadir Has University won the race, which started in front of the Cibali Campus and ended in front of the Rahmi Koç Museum.
The rowing teams of Kadir Has University and Koç University competed for the tenth time for friendship in the 100th year of the republic. This year, the Golden Horn Friendship Cup started ahead of the Kadir Has University Cibali Campus. The race ended in front of the Rahmi Koç Museum. Young sporters rowed an average of 36 times per minute. The 10th Golden Horn Friendship Cup winner was Kadir Has University’s rowing team, who scored 7 minutes and 17 seconds.
Young people came together to celebrate the 100th year of the republic with sports and finished preparations for the 2100-meter track, which started at the Cibali Campus and finished at Rahmi Koç Museum on Saturday, 28 October at 10:00.
Kadir Has University team was comprised of Burkay Günay (coach), Melike İdil Çalışkan (helm), Necmi Batuhan Acar, Görkem Tekoğlu, Metehan Kara, Emirhan Yıldırım, Emre Keklik, Enver Erman, Berkay Öztürk and Murat Alp Yardım.
On the other side Koç University team was comprised of Yalçın Fidancı (coach), Toprak Ata Kıvrak (helm), Salihcan Kahraman, Ahmet Deniz Aydın, Nejat Işık, Mahmut Yusuf Güşlü, Onur Sapmaz, Cem Berk Görmüş, Furkan Polat and Emir Saygılı.
